It is the first night of the very first Reel Do Over Festival!
Join us in Chelsea, to celebrate the community and kick off this special event with films about Chelsea - it's past, present and look to the future!
From powerful local documentaries to community-rooted storytelling, these screenings shine a light on the people and moments that continue to shape our city.
"Chelsea, The Jewish Years" by Ellen Rovner, The Chelsea Gateway Project, Oral History films from The Chelsea Black Community’s Black Heritage Trail Project and select scenes from Sabrina Aviles and Jenny Alexander’s feature documentary “Chelsea”. Delia Harrington, Chelsea's Manager of Arts and Culture, moderates the post screening discussion.
This is more than a film festival. It’s a space to connect, reflect, and uplift the stories that deserve to be seen and heard.
