Do you wish you had a time and space where you could explore what’s working and not in your life and get support in moving towards your dreams? Maybe your new year’s resolutions never seem to stick or you just have a nagging sensation that there’s something missing in your life.
This interactive workshop will help you explore what your ideal life looks like and how you can take steps to create it through harnessing the power of play. Through silly art games, reflection and optional sharing, we will explore risks you want to take to reach your dreams, the fears that get in the way and strategies you can use to expand the risks you feel comfortable taking.
Check in will start at 12:40. Please plan to arrive by 1pm and stay for the entire event. The activities in the workshop build on each other so this will help you and the rest of the group have the best experience. If you plan to arrive late or leave early please message the host (Dani) at [email protected].
Please dress comfortably and in clothes you feel comfortable getting washable paint on. The Democracy Center is a 5-10 minute walk from the Harvard T stop. If you are driving, metered two hour parking is available on Mt Auburn and surrounding streets. There there are several parking garages a short walk away.
Tickets are $15. This workshop typically sells out so we reccomend getting your ticket early.
Please email [email protected] with questions or accessibility needs related to the event. The Democracy Center is partially wheelchair accessible, with no accessible bathroom on site. Wheelchair users are welcome to use the accessible restroom at Daedalus while we plan our improvements for bathroom accessibility. To reach that bathroom, exit the ramp and turn left on Bow St, at the next building (Daedalus) use their accessible entrance and their restroom will be on the right. More information at: democracycenter.org/accessibility. Contact [email protected] or (617) 492-8855 as needed.
