Join us for this intimate class and tasting as part of our Meet the Producers series. We will speak with Ana Rato, Export Manager, and Thomas Rogerson, Port Wine Blender, of the renowned Port house Ramos Pinto. Ana and Thomas will guide us through the history of port as well as the viticultural and winemaking practices that they use to produce some of the greatest Port wines in the world. Learn about the heroic viticulture of the Douro Valley in Portugal, the aging and cellaring techniques, and the complex flavors that develop in some of the longest lived wines of the world. We will have the opportunity to taste through a selection of their white, ruby, tawny, Late Bottled Vintage and Vintage ports from single estates and from across their collection. Travel afar standing still - with the Douro as your companion.
This class will be offered Online through Zoom. Tasting Kits are available for pick up at our school if you select the Online with Tasting Kit registration option.
