The Peoples' Inauguration Concert is intended to be an expression in music of the multi-cultural values that America stands for and a celebration of the spirit of resistance.


We have a group of outstanding artists representing different musical traditions, including Mehmet Ali Sanlikol, a Grammy nominated Turkish-American composer; Ten Tumbao, a salsa band that rocks traditional and modern Latin-American Caribbean music;Regie Gibson, a former National Poetry Slam Individual Champion; S-Factor, a great acapella group from Tufts University that performs music of the African diaspora; and the Joyful Voices of Inspiration Gospel Choir. There also will be one or two speakers.


The Peoples' Inauguration Concert is being sponsored by my organization - The Global Citizens’ Initiative- a non-profit that helps address global issues such as human rights, the environment, and poverty (www.theglobalcitizensinitiative.org) and EBASS, a Boston area network of musicians.


Tickets are $15.00 and can be bought at the door or in advance through through Eventbrite: https://peoplesinugurationconcert.eventbrite.com.
A $5.00 discount is offered to participants in the Boston women's march.
