Juliet’s weekday salons return on Tuesday Jan 23, 2018. This evening’s event will be an informal discussion and potluck, as well as a casual cookbook release party for The Immigrant Cookbook: Recipes That Make America Great, which Juliet owner Katrina Jazayeri has contributed to.
The event is free to attend and guests are encouraged (optionally) to come prepared to share stories about people that have been meaningful to them throughout their careers, as well as to bring a dish that is important to them to share (snack sized portions, family style, for 15-20 guests).
The Immigrant Cookbook also features nationally recognized restaurateurs like Jose Andres and Daniel Boulud, as well as local chefs Ana Sortun, Didem Hosgel, and Joanne Chang. Katrina, Ana, and Didem (as well as the book’s editor Leyla Moushabeck) will be available to discuss their contributions and sign copies of the book.
