Bizet’s enduring tale of temptation, passion, and revenge returns to cinemas with mezzo-soprano Clémentine Margaine as opera’s ultimate seductress. Tenor Roberto Alagna, who enthralled Live in HD audiences as the desperate Don José in 2010, reprises his intense portrayal. Louis Langrée conducts Sir Richard Eyre’s powerful production, a Met favorite since its premiere.
