The Marvelous Wonderettes

We are back in the business of musical theatre.

Thanks to a generous partnership with Stage Rights, we are now officially able to stream some musicals live with our skeleton cast and crew while we wait to re-open to live audiences.

So, we’re going to do four of them. Four weekends in a row.

To start. we’re bringing back a hit. Fans of Seacoast Rep may remember Marvelous The Marvelous Wonderettes and Winter Wonderettes. Well the Wonderettes are back. Tune in each week for a new selection from the Marvelous Wonderettes series.

All of these shows are livestreamed at showtime to your computer through a link you will be provided after purchase.These are truly live productions – full band, full cast, happening in the moment you’re seeing it. We are pleased to be able to pay every cast, band, and crew member. They are not available for replay. Just think of it as a night at the theatre, at home.

The Marvelous Wonderettes
This smash Off-Broadway hit returns to the Rep and your home. Travel back with us to the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where we meet Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy: four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their skirts! As we learn about their lives and loves, the girls serenade us with classic ‘50s hits including “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” “Stupid Cupid,” and “Lipstick on Your Collar.” In Act II, the Wonderettes reunite to take the stage and perform at their ten-year reunion to see just how those dreams worked out. Featuring over 30 classic ’50s and ’60s hits and laughs all around The Marvelous Wonderettes will keep you smiling in this must-take musical trip down memory lane!
