Join us for another Open Kitchens pop-up dinner event, held in the home of our host, Paul Castiglione, in Somerville near Davis Square. Jodaelle Racine will curate our conversation about how we learn, or don’t learn, cooking skills. Joadelle is a nutritionist and an emerging, passionate chef looking to challenge our thoughts on our learned, or lack thereof, skill sets related to cooking.

Additionally you will be able to enjoy delicious Haitian cuisine prepared by E & J Catering. Barbara, the owner and head chef, presents Creole based cooking guaranteed to impress your taste buds.

E&J’s menu will include:
Pâte, Patties- Flaky pastries filled with beef and chicken
Duri djon-djon-Mushroom Rice
Gritos and Poulet en sauce-Fried pork and stewed chicken
Salad Russe-Potatoes with beets salad (contains eggs and mayonnaise)
Blanc Manfe-Fruit coktail mixed in a creamy base (contains dairy)

This event will also serve as a prerequisite to an upcoming cooking class we will host soon, so you don’t want to miss it!
