The Ladies Who Brunch is Boston’s Newest Sunday divertissement. Come and feast yourself in a feast for your senses with renowned artists Maureen Brennan, Margaret Ann Brady and Meagan Lewis-Michelson.

Maureen Brennan has the distinction of being nominated for a Tony Award and winning a Theatre World Award for her professional debut–while a student at the University of Cincinnati/College Conservatory of Music, she was selected by Harold Prince to star as Cunegonde in the revival of Leonard Bernstein’s CANDIDE. Additional appearances on Broadway in GOING UP, KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY, LITTLE JOHNNY JONES and STARDUST. Ms. Brennan can also be heard on the soundtrack recordings of Disney’s animated film classics–BEAUTY AND THEBEAST, ALADDIN, and THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, and on-screen as a dancing old lady in the current film version of the musical, THE PRODUCERS.

Margaret Ann Brady is an ancient relic of the Boston theater scene, so much so that she remembers singing show tunes at the NapoleanClub in Bay Village after performances of Triangle Theatre’s Boy Meets Boy, the first show she ever did in Boston way back in 1981.She’s thrilled to circle back to the Napoleon with John, and to have a chance to flex her unused performing muscles – she’s been an unemployed actor since contagion shuttered the longest-running play in America, Shear Madness. Before that, a long history with Boston stages like Greater Boston Stage Company, Wheelock FamilyTheatre, Lyric Stage Company, American Repertory Theater, BostonPlaywrights Theatre, Speakeasy Stage and Ryan Landry’s Gold Dust Orphans.

Meagan Lewis-Michelson has been called “the lesbian Ethel Merman of our time.” In addition to performing Off-Broadway, regionally, and on national tours (most recently as Mrs. Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), she has also made a splash in the cabaret world. She premiered her original one-woman show, Mother Mary Says to Me, at Feinstein’s/54 Below and to a sold-out crowd at American Repertory Theatre’s OBERON. This past spring, she made her SpeakEasy debut in The Prom just in time for Pride Month. www.MeaganLewisMichelson.com
