Come onboard for our first trip of the year! The Seine River, which is 777 kilometers long, starts as a little spring near Burgundy and then becomes a large river in the estuary of le Havre, Normandy. This river was the one that influenced the 19th century Avant-Garde group of Artists who were later called the Impressionists.

Marie-Pierre Rondeau will take you on a journey upstream the Seine River which will start with the small village of Honfleur and end in The City of Light: Paris. During this journey, art historian Marie-Pierre will describe and analyze the paintings created outdoors along the bank of the river or in villages around. We will also discover the works of painters Boudin, Claude Monet, Renoir, Sisley, Pissarro, Van Gogh, and many more.

This presentation will be followed by a live Q&A, so come ready with your questions!
