Join Douglas Heath, co-author of The Middlesex Fells and the forthcoming book The Lost Mill Village of Middlesex Fells, for an enlightening talk on the life and death of Timothy Sprague (1700-1765) and other early mill owners in Stoneham and Malden. Features newly-discovered information about historic mills, mill owners, and water rights going back to 1640. Accompanied by a photo presentation. Refreshments will be served.


The Botume House Visitor Center is located at 4 Woodland Road in Stoneham. Additional parking is available at Spot Pond Boating next door.
