The Godfrey Hotel Boston hosts Clear your Closet, a glam night out featuring specialty cocktails from The Lobby Bar and jewelry, bags, and accessories from nearby boutiques including deWolfe Leather Goods and Alexis Bittar. The event takes place in the hotel lobby on Thursday, February 20 and provides the chance for hotel guests and locals to donate gently-used accessories, shoes, and clothing to Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization providing professional attire for low-income women to support their job-search and interview process. Additionally, a percentage of the proceeds from the night will be donated to the nonprofit.
Artisan leather goods shop deWolfe Leather Goods, founded by Gina deWolfe, will be offering handbags, wallets, and small accessories for sale. Each item is handcrafted and carefully designed. The Boston-based shop is located on Newbury Street and has a large emphasis on simple, sleek leather goods that are built to last.
Originally founded in New York City Alexis Bittar offers jewelry ranging from bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, and more. The Boston store is located on Newbury with other locations throughout the United States. Best known for their handcrafted Lucite designs, the brand is a favorite amongst celebrities including Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Constance Wu, Zoey Kravitz, and more.
