Public transportation ridership and traffic congestion have dropped dramatically since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, as leaders from the state's public and private sectors plan to gradually bring the workforce back to the office, they examine how commuting habits will shift in the new "normal."


This program is the second installment of the Chamber’s “Future of Boston” series, where we hear from regional leaders as they lead their companies through the pandemic and into the future. Is the future of work here? How can various industries and communities adjust and thrive? And, the questions on everyone’s minds: When and how do we begin transitioning back to commuting, working, and socializing?
