The Festival of Us, You, We & Them is about bringing “other” into dance, including “other” genres and forms together, including our resident Teaching Artists and guests, many from cultures beyond the US. The Festival begins Friday afternoon, featuring demonstrations and pop-up performances, on our sidewalk and in our accessible Studio 7. This community oriented pop-up atmosphere will continue on Saturday and Sunday, with Dance Complex Teaching Artists presenting brief samples of their weekly classes, and some showing work developed with their Dance Complex students. Artists from around the Boston area will share workshops, classes, open rehearsals, and performances exploring their deep connections to dance.
