It is with considerable regret that I write to inform you that, in light of the emergent developments concerning COVID-19, we will not be able to hold this year’s Dinner Party as scheduled on Saturday, April 25th at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.

The safety of our supporters, staff and patients is of paramount importance to us. We are also mindful that it is essential that we all do our part to minimize the risk of community spread. We will continue to adhere to the guidance of the State of Massachusetts, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Governor Baker to inform our decisions about whether/when to reschedule the event.

As might be expected with such a fluid set of circumstances, we cannot give you a date certain when the Dinner Party will be rescheduled. While we are in discussions with the Marriott regarding future possibilities, our primary consideration when determining whether/when to proceed will be informed by the guidance of CDC and Mass DPH regarding the resumption of large community events. We will be in touch when the picture is clearer and we can provide more definite information.

If you have made a room reservation at the Marriott, you will need to cancel that reservation yourself within 72 hours in advance of your arrival, or your credit card will be charged.

If you purchased one or more tickets to the event, we ask that you stay with us, and retain your tickets until further notice. If you had planned to attend as a guest of a Table Captain or sponsor, please stay in touch with your host, as we will be notifying them with updates as soon as we have them.

If you prefer to convert your ticket or table purchase into an outright gift at this time, we invite you to reach out to us at [email protected]. If you would like us to refund your ticket, we ask you to send an email request to [email protected] with the name and email address of the person whose credit card was charged when the tickets were purchased. Please note that we cannot honor requests for refunds on behalf of other people, so we ask that the person who made the purchase contact us.

If you would like an update on Fenway’s response to the Coronavirus, please go to https://fenwayhealth.org/care/medical/covid-19-information/. This page is updated regularly.

Again, on behalf of Fenway Health, I regret having to make this announcement but our leadership team felt strongly that it was the best course of action.
