Boston, MA - THE ELLIS BOSTON ANTIQUES SHOW, October 23-26, 2013 is Boston's oldest and newest antiques and design tradition. The former Ellis Antiques show ran for 49 years before closing its doors in 2008. The Boston Antiques Show ran for 21 years, closing its doors in the aftermath of 9/11. The new show, which takes place at The Cyclorama, Boston Center for the Arts, located at 539 Tremont Street in Boston’s South End, combines the best of both shows and extends the array of its offerings from Greek and Roman antiquities to 20th Century Modern. The show features 40 exhibitors of the highest quality from the United States and Europe offering antiques, jewelry, fine art, silver, antiquities, decorative arts, rare maps and prints and more. Special loan exhibitions and guest speakers throughout the weekend. The Gala Preview on Thursday evening October 23th benefits Ellis Memorial, which has been supporting working families in the South End and adjacent neighborhoods since 1885. Gala tickets at www.EllisMmeorial.org. Weekend hours are Friday 1pm-8pm, Saturday 11am-8pm, and Sunday 11am-5pm.
