The fall 2017 edition of the Checkout-Live at Berklee will feature The Lage Lund Trio, October 4, at the Red Room at Café 939. Tickets are on sale at etix.com, and will be available at the door for $10.00.


Lage Lund is acclaimed as one of the finest guitarists of his generation, and one of the most compelling jazz artists in the world. Voted as the no. 2 rising star in guitar in the 2014 DownBeat Critics' Poll, Lund has been hailed by Pat Metheny as a favorite young guitarist. Russell Malone, one of the judges who awarded Lund the top prize in the 2005 Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz International Guitar Competition, described him as "all music and all soul." Lund has recorded five albums of original music on the Criss Cross label. His trio includes Ben Street on bass and Jonathan Blake on drums.
