The Boston Calendar: In search of content creators

Amazing news! The Boston Calendar is launching an app and we’re looking for unique video creators to help us build out our content library. Ideally, these creatives will have passion and expertise in a specific area. If you’ve got the hook up for all the best live music in the city, we want you. If you know the floor plan at the Museum of Fine Arts as well as you know your own house, we want you. If you’re an expert on the food and local businesses in your neighborhood, we want you. 

Here’s what you’d be doing:

• Find awesome events and experiences in your neighborhood or area of expertise 
• Go to these events (we provide a set budget to cover event admission)
• Create a vibrant short-form video about the experience and upload it to our app

That’s it! Basically, we want you to get out into the city, have a blast, and share it with the world.

If you’re interested in collaborating with us, please email [email protected] with a brief description of the types of events you specialize in or the neighborhood you love. We’ll also want to see a link to video samples on your social channels so we can check out your style. These samples don’t have to be focused on an event, but they should represent your best quality work.
