The American Academy of Arts and& Sciences is hosting an exploration of the challenges presented by the politicization of the 2020 census and what its implications are for the functioning of our government.


The program will also look forward to the 2030 census and speculate about potential changes in how we gather information about the U.S. population.


The featured speaker is Kenneth Prewitt, Carnegie Professor of Public Affairs, Special Advisor to the President, Columbia School of International and Public Affairs
