Join the North Shore yoga community for the twenty-first Annual Thanksgiving Yoga Benefit at Green Tea Yoga, On Thanksgiving morning every year since 1998, yogis on the North Shore have come together to give thanks and do yoga. It’s a great way to begin the day; we leave feeling relaxed, peaceful, more alive, and more connected.
Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for what we have and to share what we can with others. We will gather in community for an all-level, joy-filled practice on Thanksgiving morning. Julie Pottier-Brown, Maggie Winter, and Marilyn Whalen will lead the class, which will include a meditation for world peace.
Come when you can and stay as long as you can. You can register or make a donation on Eventbrite at 21st Annual Thanksgiving Yoga - nAGLY Benefit. All proceeds benefit nAGLY (the North Shore Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Youth). nAGLY provides a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental space for youth ages 14-23 who identify as LGBTQ and their allies. For more information, visit the website at www.nagly.org
Start Thanksgiving with a heartfelt community yoga practice and, at the same time, support a wonderful and important local organization. It’s a precious gift to be able to share what we can with others. What better way to start Thanksgiving?
