Mayor Martin J. Walsh invites you to join us for the 12th annual TD Hub On Wheels Citywide Bike Ride on Sunday, September 18th, 2016. Ride along a car-free Storrow Drive, explore hidden pathways and historic neighborhoods, and take in views of the Boston Harbor that you've never seen before. The ride starts and finishes on City Hall Plaza in downtown Boston.
This year's TD Hub On Wheels beneficiary is Boston Children's Hospital. With September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are encouraging riders to make their miles more meaningful by registering to fundraise for pediatric cancer research at Boston Children's Hospital. You can choose to ride in either the 10-mile family-friendly course or the full 40-mile course along the Emerald Necklace around the city. Both routes will feature a car-free Storrow Drive!
To re-open Storrow Drive in a timely fashion however, any riders not reaching the 10-mile turnaround by 9:30 a.m. will be turned back early. Many other roads along the 40-mile course will be open to vehicular traffic.
Marshals will be along all routes to make sure there’s plenty of space to ride. Tech support and ride snacks are free of charge. All rules of the road apply. Please ride safely and courteously!
