Experience the adrenaline-infused and emotionally charged choreography brought to life by BoSoma Modern Dance Company’s fiercely talented dancers in Tapestry.
Twenty-one years ago, as an emerging choreographer, Hooper’s piece, Tapestry, was recognized for its spatial design, intricate patterns, and sequence of dynamic and athletic movement, which today remains the signature of BoSoma. This season, in collaboration with local North Shore costume designer, Jennifer Greeke, BDC will revive the concept of Hooper’s work for stage with new, fresh movement, music and costuming. Piece by piece, layer by layer, the dancers and costumes will bring a tapestry of life to the stage, adding to the excitement of the piece.
