VIA Seaport Residences
VIA Seaport Residences is a 20-story ultra-hip new community located in the vibrant Seaport District of Boston. This trend-setting new high-rise towers over three levels of the most exclusive retail in Boston.
Eliza Shirazi was a student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst when she noticed the lack of community centered fitness options for women. That changed when Eliza founded Kick It, a kickboxing method that promotes health and wellness while celebrating and inspiring women to lead a healthy life and make authentic connections with other women. This loyal following dedicated to female empowerment is better known as the FempireⓇ. What once began as a passion-fueled project has since turned into a well-respected brand that has certified over 300 instructors, partnered with brands like PopSugar and New Balance, and has been featured in major publications, like Glamour and Teen Vogue.
Kick It is a music driven and kickboxing inspired fitness method with 13 rounds that have specific goals. From warm up, to meditative cool down, to toning and conditioning, Kick It targets key physical performance indicators to maximize efforts and provide real change, while also creating a fun and upbeat environment that everyone will enjoy!
Boston’s ENERGYbits® Inc was founded in 2014 by Catharine Arnston. Catharine grew up in Canada and lived in New York City before moving to Boston where she has been part of the business and startup scene for the last 25 years. But in 2009 when her younger sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and advised by her oncologist to change her diet to an alkaline one because it would help her heal, Catharine put her career on hold to help her sister. In the process, she discovered algae, the most alkaline, nutrient-dense plant in the world that no one seemed to know about. Catharine knew algae would be a game changer for the world if she could just help Americans understand it. And ENERGYbits® was born.
ENERGYbits® Inc. is the first company in the USA to launch a national brand of algae for consumers and athletes.
Algae has been sold for fifty years in Asia where it is a multi-billion dollar industry. Algae has also been sold in the USA/Canada for fifty years where organizations like NASA, The United Nations and the Carnegie Institute recognize it as the most nutritionally dense food in the world yet it has remained virtually unknown outside of Asia. ENERGYbits® is changing that. We are the first national brand of algae tablets for athletes and health conscious consumers. In 2016 ENERGYbits won an international award as one of the Top 50 Sports Startups Global Competition, and in 2017 was seen by 10 million when they appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank.
