This two-session, hands-on workshop explores the art of natural dyeing using botanical dyestuffs from plants. Students will learn to extract color from a variety of plant materials and experiment with simple modifiers to create a range of colors from each dyestuff. Beginners and experienced dyers are welcome. Students are required to bring natural fibers like yarns, deadstock fabric, or fabric remnants from home to use in their projects.
