Summer Tracktivities @ The Yard

Suffolk Downs is partnering with Outside the Box Learning Company with Linda Sessa to offer free programming for kids again this summer! Join us at The Yard @ Beachmont Square from 9:30am – 11:00am every Thursday in July and August for hands-on science experiments, games, challenges, and more!

These events are free to attend but registration is highly recommended as staffing and supplies are limited. With preregistration Linda Sessa and her team can ensure there is plenty of supplies for all children looking to participate. All events will be held rain or shine.

July 10- Cornstarch Concoctions

Step into the world of cloud dough and cornstarch magic! In this hands-on class, kids will experiment with the weird and wonderful properties of cornstarch—a non-Newtonian substance that acts like a solid and a liquid! We’ll mix up our own cloud dough, explore how textures change, and discover the science behind these amazing reactions. It’s messy, magical, and full of sensory fun—perfect for curious kids who love to play and explore!
