Join Barbara for this annual tradition, knowing you will emerge refreshed, informed, and inspired. On Saturday, the topic will be Aging. Strategies to address the unavoidable changes that come as we age - both the challenge of physical change and the liberation of becoming a Forest Dweller, that time of wisdom that can only come from years of living one's life.
On Sunday, our focus will turn to the role of Breathing; in asana, meditation, and daily life. The workshop will include a tutorial on the mechanics of breathing followed by exploration of how connection to breathing changes, well, everything.
Each class will be partly lecture and mostly active practice.
Because there is something special about an extended commitment, a mini retreat of sorts, this weekend is traditionally a required weekend commitment. However, during these COVID times, Barbara invites you to attend one or both days. Because the workshop will be virtual (and we know how there is only so much time one can devote to the screen) the hours have been reduced to 3 per day. The time will go by, really, and leave you wanting more!
This workshop will be taught in Barbara's signature Slow Flow style and is for students with some experience in yoga.
