"David" explores Jewish-Muslim relations through the eyes of 11-year old Daud, a son of the Imam of the local Brooklyn Mosque. Through an innocent act of good faith, Daud befriends a group of Jewish boys, who mistake him as a fellow classmate at their Orthodox school. Unable to resist the joy of camaraderie that he has never felt before, David, as he is known to the kids, must learn how to navigate the complexity of living between two worlds.
