The annual Summer in the City series returns for the 2025 season, kicking off a summer of first class waterfront entertainment at the iconic Boston Harbor Hotel. From June 6th - August 28th, experience the best of a New England summer with sun-drenched days, waterfront views and breezy nights. Enjoy glistening views of the Atlantic Ocean while listening to live entertainment and enjoying al fresco dining at the 26th annual Summer in the City Entertainment Series. Join us at the Harborwalk Terrace and Rowes Wharf Sea Grille as the temperatures rise for one of Boston’s most anticipated summer traditions.
What’s New This Year
A Revamped Music Experience
Live performances will fill the waterfront Tuesday through Friday evenings from 6:00PM–10:00PM, with a thrilling new energy. While fan favorites like Soul City, Country Wild Heart, and The Pulse of Boston return, this year also features 10 brand-new artists—including an all-new Friday Night lineup spotlighting up-and-coming Berklee College of Music artists. Guests can also look forward to Dueling Pianos, Ryan Murphy, and a genre-spanning mix designed to appeal to every musical taste.
Expanded Outdoor Dining & Harborfront Vibes
Guests can now enjoy a larger patio space at the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille, allowing for more al fresco dining with unobstructed views of the live waterfront performances. Just steps away, the Harborwalk Terrace has been transformed with a picnic-style light bites menu, new signature cocktails and mocktails, and pitcher-sized shareable drinks—all designed for casual enjoyment under the stars.
Set against the backdrop of Boston Harbor, Summer in the City delivers more than just music—it's an escape into the best of New England summer. Whether you're sipping a chilled cocktail with friends, dancing under the moonlight, or discovering a new favorite artist, this series blends luxury and leisure like nowhere else in the city.
