Located along the Charles River in Cambridge, Magazine Beach Park has long been a haven for city residents seeking the outdoors close to home. Thanks to a partnership between Mass Audubon, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, and Berklee, we bring free music performances to this urban greenspace.

This summer, students, faculty, and alumni from Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee will perform free concerts at some of the most notable outdoor venues throughout Boston and the Greater Boston area as part of the Berklee Summer in the City concert series.

  

The series will present a variety of musical genres, including jazz, R&B, world, pop, folk, and classical.

 

In addition to performers, this series provides opportunities for Berklee students to learn and work in artist booking, live sound engineering, project management, and street team organization.
