Explore color like a painter and change the way you live in nature! Kimberly Collins Jermain, author and illustrator of the novel new field guide, Nature of Color, will present a few of the book’s color theory principles through simple exercises to jump start your explorations outdoors. This is a class for those interested in becoming skilled with spatial color, what Emile Gruppe termed “color perspective.” Begin a practice of sourcing, observing, and retaining color experience that can be used in many visual disciplines as you and your family, friends and colleagues make nature walks a regular habit to learn sunlight’s powerful influence on our lives.
Kimberly Collins Jermain is a landscape painter, teacher, and architectural color designer whose work uses the power of color to change how we experience the world. Since 1989, Kimberly has collaborated with over 800 clients including homeowners, architects, interior designers, developers, and commercial property owners on color design projects.
