Road races are back and the Demakes Family YMCA will host their annual Stride Along the Tide 5k at Nahant Life Saving Station on September 25. Participants are welcome to register to Walk or Run the 5k. Prizes are awarded to the top runners in each age group and gender, and all participants will be eligible to win raffle prizes. The races include chip-timing by Bay State Timing Services, an exclusive race t-shirt, and post-race refreshments.


This is family-friendly events that welcome all ages. Registration starts at 7:30am and the race begins: 8:30am. The Nahant Lifesaving Station is located at 96 Nahant Rd, Nahant, MA 01908. Early Bird registration is $25. Price increases after September 1.
