Stonewall was a Riot! A Virtual Drag Brunch

This Pride month has been unlike any in recent memory, but quite like the original Stonewall riots. We at Lamplighter are inspired by the courage and vision of protestors and organizers pushing to build a more just world, and we’re grateful to be able to support the organizations doing so through our programming.

This June, we’ve teamed up with The Network/La Red—a survivor-led, social justice organization that works to end partner abuse in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, SM, polyamorous, and queer communities. Rooted in anti-oppression principles, their work aims to create a world where all people are free from oppression. They strengthen our communities through organizing, education, and the provision of support services.

Lamp and The Network/La Red (TNLR) invite you to join us in an afternoon of joy, hope, and imagination. On Saturday, June 27th, at 1pm, we’ll close out Pride month with a Virtual Drag Brunch. All ticket revenue will be split between our drag queen hosts, a donation to TNLR, a donation to another organization (to be announced!) that centers Black queer folks in their work.

A second ticket option includes a 4-pack of our protest-oriented pale ale, Act Up, and a 4-pack of treats from Union Square Donuts —two funfetti, one vietnamese coffee, and one vegan Belgian chocolate! Come sing and be merry with us as we look forward to a liberated future.
