When it comes to the Super Bowl, the food becomes an event in itself and Cask ‘n Flagon is not messing around. The Boston landmark and its South Shore outpost are breaking out their playbook for this year’s Super Bowl 52 with a catering menu full of supersized platters for your at-home viewing party as well as dishing out a themed special in-house.


ONSITE:
The Cask has seen more championships than many so it is no wonder why it is the top game day destination when it matters most. With more than 200 combined TVs at its Fenway and Marshfield locations, the Cask will be coming for the Eagles with their paired special for $20: Tornado Potato Skewers & Bucket of Beer, a combo named in honor of Minnesota’s placement in Tornado Alley of deep fried, skewered potato slices slathered in cheese sauce and bacon accompanied by an icy bucket of four Coors Light.


TAKEOUT:
Designed for groups of all sizes, the catering menu includes half-pan (serves 8-10 people) and full-pan (serves 16-20 people) options of the Cask’s most clutch comfort foods such as mac and cheese ($40/$75), chicken parmesan with penne ($50/$90), chicken broccoli and penne ($50/$90) and house marinated steak tips ($125/$225). Prefer to put the forks away? Opt for staples like finger-licking good buffalo wings ($65/$130), chicken tenders ($45/$80) or BBQ ribs ($45/$85). A variety of side dish options and salads round out the gastronomic Super Bowl.
