Steel, Sizzle, and Style: An Epic Culinary Event

Les Dames d'Escoffier Boston and The Epicurean Club of Boston present Steel, Sizzle, and Style: An Epic Culinary Battle, taking place at Clarke Showroom on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 6-9 pm. This exciting evening will feature a top chef competition along with tastings from local restaurants and food makers. Proceeds from the event fund scholarships for promising culinary students and support organizations fighting food insecurity.

Attendees will enjoy delicious small bites from top area restaurants and food vendors along with a cash bar pouring a selection of wines and craft brews. The Clarke Showroom is open to experience the latest in kitchen design and appliances. On the main stage, teams of The Epicurean Club and Les Dames d' Escoffier chefs will battle on stage for top honors in an exciting culinary challenge. Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on exciting and exclusive silent auction items.

Award winning chefs will craft a dish from a mystery basket of gourmet ingredients and battle live on the Clarke Showroom stage. Experience some of Boston’s best chefs competing, including:

• Chefs Basil Freddura and Jesse McNally from woman-owned, award-winning restaurant The Daily Catch
• James Beard Nominee, Chef Patricia Estorino from Gustazo restaurant group
• Gold medal Executive Chef Tony Le from White Cliffs Country Club 
• Food Network winner and ACF Chef of the Year Chef Eric LaBlanc from Red Heat Tavern

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample small bites from restaurants and food makers including: Gustazo (Chef Patricia Estorino), Red Heat Tavern (Chef Eric LaBlanc), Smithfield Foods, Ocean Spray, award-winning The Bone Sauce (Chef Joe Johnson), Basic Batch Donuts, and discover other new and hidden culinary gems.
