Focusing on the pressing needs of women of color and our communities, the forum will equip you with resources to access public leadership opportunities and utilize your personal power to create transformative change. Following an overview of voting rights and challenges and reviewing voting data in the Boston area, dynamic speakers will provide a snapshot of the history of the women’s suffrage movement for WOC and its connection to today. It will include an interactive conversation with former, current, and aspiring WOC elected officials to discuss challenges, wins, and strategies for success.
