Curragh, performs traditional Irish music and is cruising with us for an "All Irish, All Weekend" series of musical events. Join us as we fill the harbor with the sounds of fiddles, banjos, uilleann pipes, concertinas, and bouzoukis. Thirsty? We will be stocked with your traditional Irish libations...beer and whiskey! About Curragh
Curragh is a traditional Irish music group founded in 1995 and based in the Capital Region of New York State. Named after the ancient skin boat used along the west coast of Ireland, the sextet brings a warm and friendly house party vibe wherever they play. Playing lively jigs and reels, jaunty hornpipes and barn dances, and much more on fiddles, concertinas, banjos, bouzouki and uilleann pipes, graced by the occasional song, the band will make you feel like you're having a pint with friends in a traditional pub in a small country village in Ireland. Let the joyful sound of twin fiddles, the spine-tingling wail of Irish uilleann pipes in full voice, and the magic of six excellent musicians transport you to the shores of old Erin.
