Spring Open Studios at Hatch Street Studios invites the public inside the historic mill buildings at 88 & 90 Hatch Street in New Bedford to explore one of the SouthCoast’s largest artist communities. During this special event, artists open their studio doors and welcome visitors to walk the halls, meet the creators, and see where art is made.


Guests can discover a wide variety of work including painting, ceramics, fiber art, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and mixed media. Many artists will have artwork available for purchase, and additional guest artists and makers will be participating throughout the building.


Spring Open Studios is a free, family-friendly event with free on-site parking and elevator access. Visitors are encouraged to explore the studios at their own pace, connect with artists, and enjoy a day of creativity and community in New Bedford.
