SPRING EQUINOX & CACAO CEREMONY We invite you to join us in celebrating the arrival of spring with a special cacao ceremony. Through understanding our placement on the earth and our relationship to the sun and the light, we will celebrate the transition, align with the elements, and embrace the coming months.
Embracing the Equinox:The spring equinox, also known as the vernal equinox, marks the moment when day and night are of equal length, symbolizing balance and harmony. It’s a time of renewal, growth, and new beginnings—a perfect opportunity to realign our energies and intentions with the rhythms of nature.
The Magic of Cacao:Cacao’s scientific name “Theobroma” means “the food of the Gods” and it was once worth more than gold and utilized as a currency in ancient Mayan times for its sacred medicinal and spiritual powers. Revered for its heart-opening properties and ceremonial significance, cacao helps us connect with ourselves, the ceremony and the world around us on a deeper and more embodied level. Cacao helps open our heart so that we can embody our greatness and our relationship with eternal oneness.
What to Expect:During Ceremony & Celebration, our shamnic guide, Emmy, will guide you through a series of rituals and meditations designed to cultivate gratitude, release what no longer serves you, and set intentions for the season ahead. We will have crystal bowls, drumming, and movement, if desired. We will discuss the meaning and significance of the season, meditate on our beings, drink cacao, and go into a deep meditation and celebration, held with sound, words, and deeply healing energyTogether, we’ll create a sacred space where you can reconnect with yourself, the group, the Earth, and your relationship with the collective energy of the universe.What to Bring: Please bring things to help you feel comfortable, blanket, pillow. Pen and paper can be handy as well. Wear comfy clothes. If you have a few ceremonial items or crystals to help you ground, please bring them. Also, please feel welcome to bring something that represents love, life, light, spring, etc. to place on a temporary alter. (Items will go back home with their owners!)
