It has been a scary few months for many of us and our loved ones as the earthquake wreaked havoc across Mexico and Hurricane Maria pummeled through the Caribbean. Lives have been lost, houses have been destroyed, and infrastructure is in disarray. Our hearts have been torn open, but Boston: We have had our hearts warmed by seeing so many local organizations band together to help lift our brothers and sisters up to move on from these tragedies! From salsa socials to live music, our communities have helped raise thousands of dollars to help Mexico and Puerto Rico rebuild.
Join us in helping bring additional medical aid to Puerto Rico and Mexico with a fundraiser for Mass General’s Emergency Fund (https://giving.massgeneral.org/donate/emergency-response/)!
What better way can we continue to help than celebrating Halloween at Slumbrew with our costumes, sharing tasty food, cheering great beer, and celebrating life and resiliency with friends?
We will be holding a raffle at the end of the night with an assortment of prizes generously donated to this fundraiser (such as $100 to Slumbrew, 5 lessons with Salsa y Control, y mas!). All proceeds will go directly to relief efforts in Puerto Rico and Mexico.
Boston friends and family: Let’s raise a pint together, don our scariest Halloween garb (or maybe ourselves is scary enough J), to our brothers and sisters in Mexico and Puerto Rico. Let’s scare the ghouls away with our cheers of resiliency and unity!
We recommend purchasing your ticket in advance to secure your participation in this event as Slumbrew can accomodate a maximum of 110 persons.

ALL ticket sales (except the EventBrite service fee) will go directly to the Mass General Emergency Response Fund, a 501(c)3 organization, Tax ID 04-1564655, specifically for earthquake relief in Mexico and hurricane relief in PR/the Caribbean. We will collect cash donations on site, and will have a laptop available for you to directly donate on their webpage if you want a tax receipt emailed to you.
