Discover examples of poetry from the Harlem Renaissance, and Robert Sirota’s original “Spiritual for Mother Emanuel,” written in the wake of the tragic 2017 shooting in Charleston. Also featuring Kera Washington (percussion) and Bill Vint (soprano saxophone).
Validated concert parking available at One Beacon Street Garage. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. The audience is invited to a post-concert reception after the concert.
