Addiction affects the entire family, not just the individual struggling. That’s why Spectrum Health Systems is offering the Shatterproof Family Program.
On September 28th & 29th attendees can join experts at Spectrum’s Faris Recovery Center in Westborough to better equip their family with the knowledge, skills and strategies to help navigate treatment and ongoing recovery.
The event consists of two days of understanding and comfort designed for family members, friends and professionals affected by addiction. We'll address finding quality treatment, building a plan of action before crisis hits, dealing with stigma and shame, defining recovery for a loved one or oneself, and understanding addiction as a disease.
