Special screening: Fairyland with author Alysia Aboott

This screening is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30pm. Seating is on a first come basis.

Set against the backdrop of San Francisco’s vibrant cultural scene in the 1970s and ’80s, chronicling a father-daughter relationship as it evolves from an era of bohemian decadence to the heartbreaking AIDS crisis.

This film is based on Emerson professor Alysia Abbott's personal memoir Fairyland: A Memoir of My Father. Conversation with executive producer and author Alysia Abbott following the screening.

The feature, trailer and introduction will have OPEN CAPTIONS (which appears on screen for all) and the conversation will be live captioned by an independent CART provider.
