Special Event Trains to Brazil vs. France Friendly Match

The MBTA Commuter Rail will operate four event trains from Boston’s South Station to Foxboro/Gillette Stadium for the Brazil vs. France Road to 26 Friendly Match on Thursday, March 26. These four event trains will run express (no other stops) from South Station to Foxboro. Round trip tickets are $30 and are now available to purchase exclusively on the mTicket app. 

The $30 event ticket is also good for travel across the Commuter Rail network on March 26, 2026.

Tickets will be sold by boarding groups, “Group A” or “Group B,” with a corresponding schedule to be available at MBTA.com/Gillette.

Boarding Group A (two trains)

• Riders with tickets for Boarding Group A should arrive at South Station by 12 PM to queue for Group A trains. 
• Riders will board either Train A1 or Train A2. Trains will depart as boarding is complete. 

Boarding Group B (two trains) 

• Riders with tickets for Boarding Group B should arrive at South Station by 12:30 PM to queue for Group B trains. 
• Riders will board either Train B1 or Train B2. Trains will depart as boarding is complete. 

After the match: Four trains depart Foxboro starting 30 minutes after the match ends, leaving roughly every 15 minutes. 

These are the only trains to and from the match. There won't be regular Commuter Rail service to Foxboro on matchday.

Due to anticipated high demand, no refunds or exchanges will be available. Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding each train. All passengers, including children 11 and under, must have a ticket to board the train. Train ticket sales will stop once the maximum capacity is reached. Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for event trains to the Friendly Match on March 26.
