With the Hispanic Heritage month just around the corner, the prestigious Coolidge Corner Theatre and El Planeta have partnered up to celebrate the cinematic journey of Oscar-winning director Pedro Almodóvar.


The event features some of his most iconic films which will run each Tuesday of the month of September in the Coolidge Corner Theatre, till the awaited premiere of his new movie “Pain and Glory” in October. Having Almodóvar’s selection of films showcased in Coolidge Corner Theatre’s 35mm screen will provide cinephiles with a unique and high definition experience of these classics.


This event will bring people from diverse backgrounds together under the same love and admiration for films and, more specifically, for Almodóvar’s unique cinematic perspective.


The event will present screenings of the following films:


- Law of Desire → Tuesday, September 3: 7:00pm


- Women on The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown → Tuesday, September 17: 7:00pm


- All About My Mother → Tuesday, September 17: 7:00pm
