Mix it up New Englanders! Southern classics are culinary favorites no matter where you call home. In this hands-on cooking class, Chef Thi will explore some divine deep south delights and unlock the mysteries behind perfect grits and light, airy, scratch biscuits. Tonight’s menu incorporates farm fresh produce and includes smothered pork chops, red eye gravy, cheese grits, black eyed peas, braised greens and herb biscuits.

COVID-19 Guidelines: Due to the state-mandated Covid-19 guidelines, participants will be set up at stations at least 6 feet apart and required to wear masks throughout the class, except while eating.

Cancellation Policy: In the event that a program is canceled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund or transfer into another class within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. We offer transfers to other classes or events with 48 hours of the class. There are no refunds for missed classes. The Trustees reserves the right to change program locations, schedules, or instructors when necessary. Note: Summer Camps and our inns and campgrounds each have separate cancellation policies.
