Please join us May 24 at 8pm at The Record Company for Boston New Music Initiative's core ensemble directed by John Masko, as we perform music that explores the ideas of Sound, Image and Gesture in meaningful and unique ways. Highlights include brand new choreography created by Kimberleigh Holman for Leah Reid’s Cloud Burst, the multimedia work Tafa’il by Wajdi About Diab, which includes video and prepared piano (meaning objects are placed in the piano!), and Liza Lim’s work Cello Playing ~ as Meteorology which has the cellist standing and playing the cello in many unusual ways.
