What: Song & Sanctuary is a three day, virtual retreat for songwriting and spirituality to connect with our creativity and each other. This retreat will include workshops from industry professionals, group meditations and movement classes, guided writing time, and opportunities to perform and get feedback on your songwriting.
Why: We see songwriting as a process, and as artists we should cherish all aspects of writing, not just the outcome. We welcome creativity that offers mistakes, risks, and vulnerability. We hope this retreat can be a sanctuary for artists at a time in our history where gathering and community are hard to come by. Having a spiritual and creative practice is not just important for our careers, but is a foundation of a happy and healthy life.
