For those of you that are regulars to our cooking classes, we are changing up the format for the evening to a cocktail and strawberry tasting festival because we want to celebrate strawberry season with YOU.
We will be bringing in loads of fresh berries from nearby Verrill Farm that are ripened on the plant and ridiculously fragrant and sweet. We want you to taste many recipes (savory and sweet) starting with a cocktail hour and a strawberry sangria! Chef Didem will prepare vegetable fritters with green strawberry tzatziki, feta borek with pickled green strawberries, seared scallops and strawberry spoon salad….
Executive Pastry Chef Maura will demonstrate how to roast strawberries and make floating islands! Then, the entire pastry team from Oleana, Sofra and Sarma will collectively prepare a strawberry dessert buffet that includes strawberry arlette, strawberry truffles, strawberries with rose petal jam….Can’t miss this!
