Join us for Smorgasbord Sunday! We’re teaming up with Blueberries for Sal’s Kat Bayle on a beautiful brunch spread, showcasing local ingredients and the magic of fermentation. Inspired by a childhood grazing on smorgasbords in New England suburbia + european adventures, these kits feature Kat’s signature naturally leavened bread, lacto fermented-veggies, and some delicious spreads. And beer! Check out the full menu below.
EACH KIT INCLUDES:
– 2 sweet buns with candied Buddha hand + maple cranberries aka kinda like Scandinavian kloben buns
– Naturally leavened rye bread with Lamplighter spent grain
– Pickles! Lacto fermented + vinegar pickled farm veggies
– ½ a wheel Camembert cheese from Bell and Goose (approx 3-4 oz)
– Cultured butter
– Farm eggs pickled with beets + chiles
– And a mixed four pack of Lamplighter beer that we think will complement these flavors: Deja Vu (Witbier), Wordplay (Brown Ale with Wildflower Honey), Blame it on My Juice (Gose with Cranberry), and Werewolves of Cambridge (Porter)
Here’s how it works: Pre-order now, for pickup at the brewery on Sunday 2/21 anytime between 11 am - 4 pm. Everything comes ready to assemble and enjoy as you please! This menu is intended for brunch, or lunch, or all-day snacking.
