Saturday at the Cambridge Art Association — Small Works Sale & Live Demonstrations
Join us for a day of art and craft as part of our week-long fundraiser!
Browse our Small Works Sale in the gallery from 12–4 PM, featuring an array of affordable original artwork.
At 1 PM, watch Paul Sears demonstrate the art of wood carving using traditional hand tools — live in the gallery. A Newton-based sculptor with roots at the Boston Museum School, Paul has spent decades exploring wood as a medium that carries the memory of its own creation, combining carving and fabrication to bring his pieces to life.
Also at 1 PM, step outside to the park adjacent to the gallery for a papermaking demonstration by Lennon Hernandez Wolcott, the Arts and Business Council of Greater Boston's Manager of Development and Programs. A multidisciplinary artist and educator with an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, Lennon's practice spans papermaking, printmaking, sculpture, and bookarts, with a focus on community, identity, and craft. Please note: the outdoor papermaking demo is weather dependent.
Both demonstrations run until 2 PM.
Support the Arts While You Create
